A Short Addendum

BALI, INDONESIA- My last post was written in a hasty, frenetic fashion, since I was sitting at the departure gate waiting to have my flight called (I've been a little ruffled, even this was written and posted days ago, but Balinese Internet appears to be as uncooperative as that in Australia). Unsurprisingly, my little list of my favorite moments in Australia was thrown together in a hodge-podge fashion, and I didn’t have time to include the most obvious “moment” of my trip, (since, in looking back on specific instances where I took the time to stand back and drink in the weirdness of whatever experience I was engaged in, it wasn’t that weird at all), which was having Mom and Steve visit. If I’ve learned anything over the past year, it’s that happiness is better when shared and while we all have time to reflect on our little personal paths and what we’re doing in the world, all of it is meaningless unless we can share it with others. Personal relationships are the key to happiness, and being able to share something you’re doing with others is paramount to living a happy and fulfilled life. I’ll keep this short and sweet, but it’s worth taking a moment to appreciate the special people in your life, and the times that you are lucky enough to share with them!
